I’m very excited about the trailer for my next book, Hold Your Breath, which comes out in June. It was made by a hugely talented film maker called Jack Jewers of Trailermade Films. I LOVE what he has done with this. What do you think?

Hay Festival

I had a fantastic time at Queen Elizabeth’s Boys School in north London yesterday. Huge thanks to staff and pupils there, who made me feel so welcome.

I’m writing a sequel to Cracks, which will be published by Piccadilly Press in 2014.

The title is Fragments and the story will start where Cracks left off, told from Kyla’s point of view. Am very excited!

Essex really is the only way….

I had a fantastic time today talking to the girls at Brentwood Ursuline School about Cracks, which is nominated for the Essex Book Award. The librarians at the school are lovely people who made me feel so welcome and the students were total stars. I had some brilliant questions from the audience and really enjoyed meeting some of the girls afterwards in the Book Group.

A brilliant day overall. Thanks again to staff and students!
